Frequently Asked Questions
Are you currently accepting new patients?
Yes, we have a full time family doctor on site who is accepting new patients, please visit the contact page to fill out a patient registration form
What happens if I do not have medical coverage?
If you do not have medical coverage or we are unable to validate your current coverage, there will be a charge for the visit. However, we accept medical insurance for students and those without OHIP card; such as Guardme, Morecare etc. We also accept other private insurance and self pay.
Do I need to book an appointment to see a doctor?
Our clinic operates as a family practice and a walk-in. This means you do not need to book an appointment; the walk in clinic operates its day time hours and sees all patients walking in. Please see our hours below to schedule your visit!
Can I get my medical results over the phone?
Due to OHIP Regulations and privacy concerns, we are unable to offer any medical results, advice or management over the phone, fax or via email. Communication with administrative staff about your health or investigations is also against privacy regulations and you will be instructed to communicate all medical concerns with your doctor at your appointment. Our staff will be happy to help with all other concerns.
Laboratory and Radiology Reports?
Most test results will arrive to our office 7 days after being performed. They will arrive directly to the Physician who ordered them. Patients are requested to book a follow-up appointment with the same physician who ordered their test to be advised of the results and management. If patients are concerned, curious, or still having symptoms while waiting for test results, patients are encouraged to book an appointment with the ordering physician.
