Welcome to Hunter Medical Centre! We look forward to serving you.
Hunter Medical Centre has opened to serve the Hamilton and surrounding area. We are conveniently located right behind the Hamilton Go Station downtown. Our goal is to make your medical experience as caring and compassionate as possible by providing exemplary health care. Our team includes experienced family physicians and highly trained pharmacists, as well as highly trained staff members who work together to provide world-class medical care.
We develop and use strategies to ensure that our patients have timely access to care. No appointments are necessary at our clinic! You can walk right in and see a doctor. We look forward to providing our community and contributing to the continuing health education and services of Hamilton!
Family doctors are the best option for ongoing medical care with continuity. They will effeciently and effectively diagnose and most medical issues, provide periodic health exams, supervise chronic illness and mental health issues, and provide referrals to other medical consultants and specialists if needed. Dr. Emmanuel Kanu
Dr. Kanu has practiced Family Medicine in three continents and five countries. His primary medical training was in Nigeria and he subsequently had more training in United Kingdom. He practiced in the UK between 2009 and 2018. He relocated to Hamilton Ontario in 2018 to establish his Practice. He took over Hunter Street Medical and Walk-in Clinic in April 2019 and since then has made a lot of transformational changes.
Dr Kanu has a wide range of experience, especially in chronic disease management, sexual and reproductive health, pediatrics and Immigrant healthcare. He has received numerous recognition for his voluntary work with the less privileged.
Dr Kanu is married with 4 children and his desire is to continue to provide cutting edge healthcare to his patients without any form of discrimination.
